Walk to End Alzheimers

Gateway personnel will be participating in the Snohomish County Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The walk is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease, the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound

Gateway participated in the annual golf tournament at WA National Golf Club this summer, and proudly donated to the cause. The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better.

For more than 100 years nationally and 50 locally, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 7 through 18, in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
